The lower control arms take the hits on the trail, and a bent arm can wreck an alignment and a day. These weld-on TeraFlex skid plates strengthen the front lower control arm assembly on a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK so the arms resist bending, while shielding them from damage.
Why it works
- Stronger arms: reinforces the front lower control arm assembly against bending.
- Protection: shields the arms from trail damage.
- 1/4" steel: the CNC cut brackets are made from 1/4 inch thick steel.
- Matching kit: the rear lower arms have their own kit if you are protecting the whole suspension.
Fitment
Made for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. TeraFlex lists it under its JK line, and the vendor data ties it to the JK chassis only, so it does not fit the older TJ or the newer JL. This kit is for the front lower control arms.
Install notes
Welding is required. This is not a bolt-on part, so plan for a welder or a shop that can do the work.
