This is the rear upper piece of TeraFlex's Alpine long control arm system for JK Wranglers and Unlimiteds running a 3-6" lift. The system is built to give complete alignment adjustability at those heights, and this upper arm is made from 42mm x 4mm wall DOM tube.
The arm uses maintenance-free, factory-style bushings that TeraFlex says give good noise, vibration and harshness damping and ride quality. It is meant to work with the Alpine Long Arm Brackets, which are gusseted and reinforced and which TeraFlex says carry less NVH than other long arm kits.
Fitment
2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JK Unlimited with a 3-6" lift. Because this listing covers the rear upper position only, order the remaining positions separately or step up to a full 8-arm kit if you are doing the whole system.
Install notes
This arm must be used with the TeraFlex Alpine Long Arm Bracket Kit (part 1957000), which is not included. Installation requires cutting and welding, including cutting or removing the factory control arm bracketry to fit the Alpine brackets. Budget for fab tools or a shop.

Do I need the bracket kit too?
Yes. TeraFlex states this arm must be used with the Alpine Long Arm Bracket Kit, part 1957000. It is not included with this listing.
Does installation require cutting and welding?
Yes. The factory control arm bracketry has to be cut or removed to install the Alpine brackets, and the new brackets are welded in.
What lift height is this designed for?
