This is the simple route to 2.5 inches on a two-door JK: coil springs plus the basic components needed to fit larger tires, gain ground clearance and improve off-road capability without hurting on-road handling.
TeraFlex says its suspension systems are developed around geometry, roll center and load tuning so the factory stability controls stay within the parameters Jeep designed. Shocks are the piece to plan for, and TeraFlex recommends Falcon Performance Shocks or its 9550 VSS Twin-Tube Shocks.
Fitment
2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK two-door models. This listing is specific to the 2-door.
Install notes
Requires aftermarket wheels with 4.75" backspacing or less, or Offset Wheel Adapters (part 1055000) for stock wheels. The adapters are not included. On 2012-2018 JK Wranglers and Unlimiteds, exhaust spacers (part 2610000) or another exhaust modification are needed for driveshaft clearance if the front extended shock length is greater than 24.5". This kit needs longer shocks or shock extensions (front upper part 1553800, rear upper part 1554800), which are not included in the base kit. TeraFlex recommends Falcon Performance Shocks or its 9550 VSS Twin-Tube Shocks.

Are the shock extensions included?
The name says shock extensions, but the vendor notes list them (front upper 1553800, rear upper 1554800) as not included in the base kit. Call us to confirm what ships with this part number.
Will this fit a four-door Unlimited?
No. This listing is for the JK two-door.
Can I keep my factory wheels?
Only with Offset Wheel Adapters (part 1055000, not included). Otherwise use aftermarket wheels with 4.75" backspacing or less.
Does it affect the factory stability controls?
TeraFlex says the geometry and load tuning keep the factory stability controls functional and within Jeep parameters.
