Lift a TJ a couple of inches and the driveshaft angles change, which often shows up as a vibration you can feel through the floor. This TeraFlex 0.5" transfer case lowering spacer kit drops the transfer case to ease the driveshaft vibration that comes with a ride height 2" or more above stock. It is a modest, targeted fix rather than a full driveline overhaul.
The vendor singles out Wranglers that do not have a slip yoke eliminator kit or adjustable control arms. If you already run either of those, you may be solving the same problem another way, so think about what is already on the Jeep before adding this.

When do I need a transfer case lowering kit?
TeraFlex positions it for TJs with a ride height 2" or more above stock that develop driveshaft vibration.
Do I still need a shift linkage plate?
It may be necessary. TeraFlex says the shift linkage plate can be needed with a transfer case lowering kit or body lift.
Will this fit other model years?
This one is listed for 1997-2002 only. Other years use a different kit, so choose by model year.
Is it a replacement for a slip yoke eliminator?
