This is a holder for standard hanger button-style CB microphones. A composite non-marring spring-loaded pad grips the mic, locks it tight, stops slippage and takes out the rattle you get on rough ground. The body is machined from billet aluminum for a heavy-duty finish that suits off-road and commercial use.
It comes with a standard 20mm metal ball, which means it plugs into Tackform's 20 Series platform and other 20mm sockets. The ball swaps to 17mm, 25.4mm or 26mm sizes, sold separately, so you can match whatever socket setup you already run.
Fitment
Compatible with a wide variety of CB mics that use a hanger button. Tackform's confirmed list, which it says is not complete: Cobra 19 MINI AM/FM, 25 LTD, 29 LTD, 29 LX, 75 All Road and LTD NW; Midland MXT105, MXT115, MXT115P, MXT275, MXT295 Pro, MXT500 and MXT575; Retevis RA86.
What's included
The spring-loaded holder and one 20mm metal ball. Other ball sizes and any mounting base are separate.
Trade-offs: it is made for standard hanger button-style mics, so a mic without that button needs a different holder. Alternate ball sizes and the base you mount it to are separate purchases.

Which CB mics fit?
Standard hanger button-style mics. Confirmed examples include Cobra 29 LTD, Midland MXT275 and Retevis RA86; the list is not complete.
Can I use a different ball size?
Yes. The 20mm ball swaps to 17mm, 25.4mm or 26mm, sold separately.
Does it rattle?
It is designed for rattle reduction with a spring-loaded, non-marring pad.
What do I mount it to?
Any compatible socket or base; the holder terminates in the ball, and bases are sold separately.
