This kit gives a handheld radio a fixed, quick-release spot in the cab, instead of a radio rolling around the console or riding on a belt clip. The radio docks magnetically on a 7" DuraLock arm, and the base is an Assault Track Picatinny base (Tackform tags it as a TRAXX Assault Track add-on). It belongs to Tackform's 20 Series platform, built around the 20mm ball and socket system.
Tackform describes a two-part design: a custom attachment uses the existing screws on your radio and works with both standard and extended battery sizes, and the magnetic holder sits on the arm. The parts are CNC machined from high-quality aluminum.
Fitment
Compatible with a wide range of handheld radios. Confirmed models, from a list Tackform says is not complete: Baofeng AR-5RM, BF-666S, BF-777S, BF-F8HP, BF-F8HP Pro, K63, UV-5R+ Pro, UV-5RA, UV-BRQ, UV-5G (UV-5X), UV-5G Plus and UV-5G Pro; BTECH DA-7X2, DMR-6X2, DMR-6X2 PRO, GMRS-PRO, UV-50X3 and UV-PRO; Rugged Radios GMR2 Plus, R1, RDH16, RDH-X, RH5R and V3; Rapid Radios My Emergency Radio; Rocky Talkie Expedition Radio.
Install notes
The radio-side attachment uses the radio's existing mounting screws. Slotting handles outer screw spacing from 26mm to 31mm and inner spacing from 7mm to 13mm. Tackform sells this as an add-on kit, so check that the Assault Track Picatinny base style matches where you plan to mount it.
Options
Choose an accent kit color and an arm tube in aluminum or carbon fiber.
