The Tackform Impact Series Mega-Duty Seat Rail Tablet Holder is meant for trucks and other vehicles with an accessible seat bolt, where the dash is the wrong place for a screen. A 20"-24" telescoping arm sits on a base with a quick-release cam lever for fast adjustments, and an extra lower support arm is there to cut down on vibration while you drive.
The tablet cradle is spring loaded and ships with 10 different legs, so it can be set up for devices from 7 to 18.4 inches, including Samsung Galaxy tablets and iPads from the mini through the Pro. It opens from 6.25" to 11.5" wide. This listing uses the composite holder, which Tackform positions as a lighter, lower-cost alternative to its all-metal SLATE cradle. Full articulation lets you run portrait, landscape or anything between.
Fitment
Universal. Any vehicle or truck with an accessible seat bolt. The cradle is not compatible with the Galaxy View. The mount is built on the Tackform 26 Series 26mm ball and socket system and is not compatible with 1"/B-size/25.4mm ball systems.

Which tablets will it hold?
Samsung Galaxy tablets and iPads from the mini to the Pro, with screens from 7 to 18.4 inches. The Galaxy View is not compatible.
What does it bolt to?
An accessible seat bolt on a truck or other vehicle, using the seat rail / floor bolt base.
Is it all metal?
The arm and ball system are the all-metal 26 Series. The tablet holder itself is composite, as a lighter alternative to Tackform's all-metal SLATE cradle.
Will it work with 1 inch ball parts?
No. It is not compatible with 1"/B-size/25.4mm ball systems.
