This is a universal tablet cradle with a 26mm all-metal ball, from Tackform's Impact Series. The spring cradle comes bundled with ten legs, which is how one holder covers Samsung Galaxy devices and iPads from the mini up to the Pro, with screens from 7" to 18.4". The cradle opens from 6.25" to 11.5" wide. It is not compatible with the Galaxy View.
Case thickness is a common problem, so Tackform made the grips more than 1.25" deep, which should suit most large protective cases. The ball is metal on purpose: Tackform's argument is that rubber-coated balls wear out and metal does not, and the holder is intended for light- and heavy-duty use.
Fitment
Not vehicle-specific. It uses a 26mm ball and is described as compatible with 1" / B-size ball systems. You need a compatible arm and base.
What's included
The spring cradle with its ten legs and 26mm metal ball.
Practical notes: the ten bundled legs are what let the cradle resize, so keep the unused ones if you plan to change tablets later.
