A plow controller that slides around the seat or dangles from its cord is a nuisance when you are working a lot. This holder gives it a fixed place on Tackform's 20 Series ball-and-socket platform. This configuration pairs a Assault Track base with a 2" DuraLock Arm, and the kit includes two holder types so you can match the shape of your controller rather than forcing one clamp to fit everything. Thread the included 20mm metal ball onto whichever holder suits your controller and it is ready to mount.
The parts are machined from billet aluminum, which gives a rigid mount with a clean, heavy-duty finish for demanding environments. There is no vehicle-specific bracketry here, so it works in any truck, cab that can take the base.
Fitment
The narrow holder is meant for Western Plow and similar slim grip-style controllers. Controller numbers Tackform lists for it: Western Plow 35500, 56462, 64294, 85200, 96462, 96500 and 96900; Fisher 9400, 9800, 29800 and 85100; SnowEx 11780, 11790, 11900, 11910 and 12140; Blizzard 96550 and 96900.
The wide holder is for Snow Dog and similar wide body-style controllers. Tackform says the detailed list for the wide holder is still coming, so those are similar-fit rather than confirmed model by model.
What's included
Tackform describes this as an add-on kit that includes two holder types (narrow and wide) and a 20mm metal ball. The base and arm style are named in the title, and color is chosen through the accent kit color option.
Trade-offs
If your controller is not on the narrow list and is not a wide body-style unit, send us the model before ordering and we will help you decide.
