This kit attaches to a seat rail or floor bolt rather than drilling new holes, and carries an AMPS-pattern device on a rigid flex arm. It is a Type-C seat rail and floor bolt kit that works with a wide range of seat rail designs, supports floor bolts up to 1/2" in diameter, and comes with three uniquely designed brackets.
The arm is Tackform's rigid flex style: industrial-grade aluminum that holds its position without sagging. It is meant to be set up and left alone rather than moved around, and it takes two hands to adjust. Long arms can sway on a moving vehicle, so an adhesive-backed stabilizer is included to anchor the arm to your dashboard or center console.
The listing singles out GPS and tuner devices; Dynojet and Garmin are named as examples of makers that use the AMPS pattern on many devices. Because many manufacturers use AMPS, check that yours is 30mm x 38mm.
