This kit puts a tablet within reach by anchoring to your seat rail or floor bolt instead of drilling the dash or floor. The mounting kit is a Type-C seat rail and floor bolt design, supports floor bolts up to 1/2" in diameter, and includes three uniquely designed brackets to suit many seat rail designs and configurations.
The arm is Tackform's rigid flex style: industrial-grade aluminum that holds its position without sagging. It is meant to be set up and left alone rather than moved around, and it takes two hands to adjust. Long arms can sway on a moving vehicle, so an adhesive-backed stabilizer is included to anchor the arm to your dashboard or center console.
The tablet holder is magnetic: ten neodymium magnets sit in a powder-coated steel housing, with a non-marring rubber pad against the tablet. The kit includes metal plates, and one has to be stuck to the back of your tablet or its case so the magnets have something to grip.
Fitment
Not tied to a single model; Tackform describes it as working across a broad spectrum of vehicles and custom applications with seat rails or floor bolts. Arm lengths: 10", 14", 18", 22" and 26". The system is 26 Series with a 26mm ball, and it is not suitable for 1" / B-sized / 25.4mm balls.
Install notes
Match the bracket to your rail or bolt. If your vehicle has recessed floor bolts, Tackform sells a separate supplementary hardware kit.
