This version of the Tackform multi-mount bar clamp swaps the ball for a 25mm ball socket on a short reach adapter. It is for setups where your component already has a 1" (B-sized) ball and you want to grab a round bar with it. The vendor's listing is inconsistent on bar sizing: the title says 1" to 2" bars, but the body text says the short reach adapter works with bars from 1/2" to 1". Confirm your bar size with Tackform support before you buy.
The clamp is CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum, with a glass-filled resin knob that has a stainless steel threaded core, anti-slip rubber grips and stainless hardware. It ships with a dovetail and a coupler that accepts a 20mm ball. It has four Type-B connection points, so the dovetail or ball can go in different spots on the clamp, and ball sizes or dovetails can be swapped for cross-platform use.
Fitment
Not vehicle-specific. It is intended for common round bars on motorcycles, semi truck grab handles, roll cages, harness bars and similar. Bar sizing is described above.
