A magnetic tablet holder on a 20mm ball. There is no clamp or cradle to fiddle with: the tablet snaps onto the magnets and pulls off when you need it. It is part of Tackform's 20 Series, so it pairs with 20mm arms and sockets.
Why it works
- Ten neodymium magnets sit in a powder coated steel housing.
- A non-marring rubber pad sits against the tablet.
- The 20mm ball is CNC billet aluminum machined to +/- .005", with grooves designed for an anti-slip fit.
- The Type-B interface makes it easy to swap the ball for a dovetail if your setup changes.
Install notes
One thing to get right: the kit includes two rectangular metal plates, and one of them must be stuck either to the back of your tablet case or directly to the tablet. Without a plate there is nothing for the magnets to grab.

Do I have to stick a plate on my tablet?
Yes. One of the two included plates must be adhered to the back of the tablet case or directly to the tablet.
Is this the same as the 26mm holder?
No. This has a 20mm ball. Tackform sells a 26mm version.
Can I use a 1" ball mount with it?
No. It is not compatible with 25.4mm / 1" / B-sized systems.
