This is the foundation of Tackform's magnetic attachment system for CB mics and handheld radios. The receiver mounts in the vehicle, and a compatible magnetic adapter on your device lets you dock and release it with one hand. It is machined from high-quality aluminum with a CNC finish.
It comes with a 20mm ball, which ties it into Tackform's 20 Series platform and its catalog of 20mm arms and bases. Tackform says its parts are tested for durability and have engineered load capacities with a safety factor not guaranteed by other 20mm makers.
Fitment
Universal as a receiver. It works with Tackform's magnetic adapters, which are available for devices from Midland, Cobra, GME, Baofeng, Rugged Radios and other brands. The adapter for your own mic or radio is sold separately, so this receiver alone does not hold anything.
What's included
The magnetic receiver with a 20mm ball. CB microphone and handheld radio adapters are sold separately, and so are the arm or base you mount it on.
Because the receiver is only half the system, pick the adapter that matches your mic or radio first and build the mount around it.
