This is a magnetic CB microphone holder with a 20mm metal ball, listed as MG7-CB2-20. It is a two-part design: a custom attachment replaces the existing hanger button on the back of your Midland radio mic, and that is what turns an MXT setup into a magnetic mounting system. The holder itself is CNC machined from aluminum.
The 20mm ball ties it into Tackform's 20 Series, so it can ride on the 20mm bases and arms you may already run for phones or tablets.
Fitment
Tackform is clear that this is not a universal product. It only works with select radios: the Midland MXT275, MXT575 and MXT115P, and the Retevis RA86. If your CB is not on that list, it will not fit, so check the model before ordering. The mount side is a standard 20mm ball, so it is not tied to a particular vehicle.
What's included
The magnetic receiver and the adapter bundle that replaces the hanger button on the mic. Tackform does not list mounting hardware for the base, so plan for a 20 Series base or arm separately.
