This adapter upgrades a Midland MXT CB mic to a magnetic mount. It replaces the existing hanger button on the back of the radio with a magnetic adapter, so the mic can be pulled off with a quick release and docks securely when you put it back.
It is CNC machined from aluminum and designed for Tackform's 20 Series platform, built around the 20mm ball and socket system. Tackform says its parts carry tested load capacities with a safety factor that other 20mm makers do not guarantee.
Fitment
Not universal. It is compatible with select Midland radios only: MXT275, MXT575 and MXT115P, plus the Retevis RA86. Check your mic model against that list.
What's included
The adapter only. The magnetic receiver is sold separately.
This is the adapter half of a pair, so budget for the receiver as well. If your Midland mic is not on the list above, do not guess; send us the model and we will check it with the vendor.
Questions before you order?
Fitment questions are easier to settle before the box ships. Call or text Carl & Anton at (920) 249-7744 or use the chat — real humans in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, not a call center.
