This kit puts a tablet where a passenger can use it: on the headrest. A Tackform bar clamp grabs the headrest post and a 3.5" DuraLock arm carries the SLATE tablet holder, which handles iPads, Android tablets and other devices with 6" to 16" displays. It is not compatible with the Galaxy View.
The SLATE cradle expands from 5.25" to 10.25" tall, and the grips adjust from 0.18" to 1.5" deep to fit bare tablets or cases. You can switch between portrait and landscape and insert or remove a tablet one-handed.
Fitment
Universal. The bar clamp fits bar shapes from a minimum of 3/8" to a maximum of 5/8", so it suits headrest bars, crossbars and mirror bars. Measure your bar before ordering.
Install notes
Four self-tightening bolts and the included L-wrench do the work. The listing comes in a range of accent kit colors.
Build notes: the knob is glass-filled resin molded over stainless steel threaded inserts, with stainless steel and aluminum internal supports, and the rest is CNC machined black anodized aluminum. The accent kit color option changes the trim color only.
