This is a bar clamp that carries a GoPro-style action camera. The mount has a two-prong interface and a single thumb screw, and it uses a hex drive on the end of the screw if you want extra tightening force, so a wrench is not required. It is all metal where it counts.
The clamp adjusts to bars from 1" up to 2", the common round stock found on motorcycles, semi truck grab handles, roll cages and harness bars. Tackform builds it from CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum, with a glass-filled resin knob that has a stainless steel threaded core, anti-slip rubber grips and stainless hardware. It uses the Type-B interface, with a single 20mm ball and four connection points available, so the ball can be placed in different spots on the clamp.
Fitment
Not vehicle-specific. It fits round bars from 1" to 2" and GoPro / action camera mounting interfaces. It comes in eight accent kit colors. Tackform notes it is not suitable for 25.4mm / 1" / B-sized balls.
Install notes
Clamp it to the bar, then set the camera on the two-prong mount and tighten the thumb screw. The included hex drive in the end of the thumb screw gives more leverage if needed.
