- Explain how and when it failed

The Tackform DuraLock AR20-CC is the 20 Series socket that joins Tackform's aluminum dovetail to a 20mm ball. It is chrome-plated aluminum, with a glass-filled resin knob molded over stainless steel threaded inserts, and a chrome knob is included.
Why it works
- Chrome-plated aluminum body. Metal construction with a chrome finish.
- Durable knob threads. The glass-filled resin knob is molded over stainless steel threaded inserts.
- Tested load capacity. Tackform says its parts are tested for load capacity with a safety factor not guaranteed by other makers.
- Color-swappable. Compatible with Tackform's DuraLock knobs, so you can swap colors to match your vehicle.
Fitment
Universal, for 20mm ball-and-socket systems. It is made for Tackform's 20 Series platform and works with other 20mm products. It is not compatible with 25.4mm (1", B-size) ball systems or 1.5" ball-and-socket parts.
