The Tackform TF-HL-103 adapter puts a 1/4"-20 thread, the standard on many video products, on a 1"/25mm B-sized rubberized ball. The maker names GoPro and Nikon among the products that thread onto it, so it is a quick way to get a camera onto a B-size mounting setup.
Why it works
- Metal core. Base and shaft are metal, which the maker says makes it stronger than plastic alternatives that can break under heavy load.
- Rubberized ball. The rubber surface makes the ball easier to reposition.
- Standard thread. The 1/4"-20 screw matches the tripod thread found on many cameras and video products.
Fitment
