This is a camera holder for people who want a real metal connection between a camera and a mount, not a plastic clamp. It threads onto the standard 1/4"-20 tripod screw found on cameras and compatible devices, and an aluminum tightening ring locks it down by hand. No tools are needed to put it on or take it off.
The body is 6061-T6 aluminum, and the connection to your mount is a CNC machined 26mm ball, so it belongs to Tackform's 26 Series (the Impact Series line). Tackform positions it for vloggers, car reviews and as a dashcam alternative setup. It is a component, not a complete mount: you still need a 26mm-compatible arm and base to hold it in the vehicle.
Fitment
Universal. It is not tied to a make or model. It fits any Tackform 26mm ball and socket arm, and anything that uses a 1/4"-20 tripod thread can be attached to it.
Install notes
Thread the screw into the camera, snug the aluminum ring by hand, then connect the ball to your 26mm socket. No drilling or vehicle modification is involved in the holder itself.

Do I need tools to install the camera on this holder?
No. The aluminum tightening ring is turned by hand to secure the camera on the 1/4"-20 screw.
Is this a complete mount?
No. It is the camera holder only, with a 26mm ball on the back. You need a compatible 26mm arm and base to mount it in your vehicle.
What cameras will it hold?
Anything with a standard 1/4"-20 tripod thread. Check your device for that thread before ordering.
Will it work with other ball sizes?
It is built around the 26mm ball. Use it with 26mm sockets and arms.
