This Tackform BC415 clamp mounts a tablet to a semi-truck grab handle, which is often a better place for a screen than the dash. It clamps round bars from 7/8" up to 1-1/2", which the vendor says covers common stock for grab handles, roll cages and harness bars. A 3.5" fully articulating dual socket ball arm lets you aim the device.
The spring cradle ships with 10 different legs and can open from 6.25" to 11.5" wide, covering screens from 7" to 18.4", including Samsung Galaxy tablets and iPads from the mini through the Pro. The grips are over 1.25" deep, so most tablet cases fit. The Galaxy View does not fit.
The clamp has four Type-B connection points and ships with a single 20mm ball, so you can relocate the ball to suit your install. Extra components come in the box to convert the kit to a short reach configuration. It is part of the Tackform 20 Series, built around the 20mm ball and socket.
