This AMPS mount carries a 20mm composite socket on a standard AMPS base so a device mount can connect directly, with no intermediary arm. The socket has a threaded tightening ring, so any 20 Series part attaches directly for an ultra-low profile and maximum rigidity.
The AMPS foundation is 6061-T6 aluminum, chosen for strength and corrosion resistance, paired with a composite socket or ball. The hybrid build stays light but rigid.
Fitment
Universal. The base accommodates M4, M5, 10-24, 10-32, #8 plastic screws and other self-threading screws up to 5.2mm in diameter. Intended for Tackform 20 Series (20mm) components.
Install notes
This version does not include mounting hardware. Choose screws that suit your mounting surface and the hole sizes above. Because the connection is direct, this is the shortest-reach way to run the setup; add an arm and a different base if you need distance from the surface.
Fit check: because the 20 Series part seats straight into the socket, make sure the mounting surface leaves room around the tightening ring before you drill.
