This Tackform tablet mount is built to hold a tablet in a fixed spot, with an AMPS drill base, a 10.5" arm and a 26 Series all-metal ball and socket setup. The metal joints let you aim the tablet where you want it and have it stay there, which is the point of choosing this over a plastic mount.
The tablet cradle comes with a range of support legs so it can fit popular tablets from makers such as Apple, Samsung, Sony, Amazon, LG and Google. It attaches to the AMPS base with four included screws. Tackform pitches it for ELD use, with the tablet mounted on the dashboard where a truck driver can reach it.
Fitment
Universal. It can be mounted to most sturdy surfaces if you use suitable fasteners, and the source suggests a local hardware store for advice on the right type. That includes vehicles, workbenches, tables, countertops and desks. This is a drill-down mount, so plan on fastening it permanently.
