This is an all-metal AMPS drill base paired with a short 4.5" modular arm and a Dual-T adapter. It is built for people who run a Dual-T device in a truck or fleet vehicle and want it held on a solid, semi-permanent base instead of a suction cup. Tackform includes the AMPS hole pattern plus extra holes, so you have more than one way to land the base on a flat surface.
The arm takes two balls, one at each end, with an adjustable elbow in the middle. Every joint locks down with a thumbscrew, so you can reposition by hand without tools and still get a firm hold once it is tight. The system runs on Tackform's 20mm ball platform.
Fitment
Universal. It mounts to any flat surface where you are willing to fasten an AMPS plate. The Dual-T adapter is listed as compatible with devices from iBolt, Arkon, Edge Performance (Insight CT, CT2, CTS and CTS2), DiabloSport (Trinity 2) and SCT (X4), among others.
