The AMD1-MTL is an all-metal locking dash mount for tablets. Everything that carries load is metal: a 5.5" aluminum arm with dual 26mm sockets, a ratcheting lever, a locking tablet cradle and a 26mm AMPS base, plus a metal installation kit.
The locking cradle is the point of this one. It keeps a tablet secured in the mount rather than relying only on friction, which suits commercial and shared vehicles. The larger 26mm ball-and-socket joints sit on Tackform's heavier-duty system rather than the 20mm line.
Fitment
Universal. It is listed in Tackform's semi-truck range and is not tied to one vehicle. The vendor has not published cradle size limits, so send us your tablet model if you want it confirmed.
