This kit mounts a CB microphone to the dashboard and includes all the hardware needed. It comes in three parts: a base, an arm and a holder.
The base (TF-BS-4H-KIT) is a 20mm aluminum ball attached to an aluminum AMPS plate with three flat head screws. Tackform points out that a metal ball and plate outlasts rubber alternatives. The AMPS hole pattern is 38mm x 30mm center to center, and the plate measures 1.7" x 2" x 0.1185". A dashboard mounting kit goes with it, with an oversized backing plate that spreads weight and cuts visible vibration. The plate has press-fit threaded inserts, so you do not have to fight nuts and wrenches behind the dash, and a loose screw can be tightened from the front.
The arm (TF-AR-34-40) is a 4.75" aluminum tube double socket arm from the 20 Series, made for metal 20mm balls. It is low profile, and each socket articulates independently. A half-turn of the knob locks the position, and the ball centers sit about 4.25" apart.
The holder (CB1-20) is a billet aluminum CB microphone holder with an attached 20mm ball on a Type-B connection. You can swap that ball for a 25.4, 26 or 17mm ball to suit a different system.
Fitment
Universal dashboard kit for any vehicle with a surface you can mount the AMPS plate to. Tackform lists it in a semi-truck category, but it is not tied to a make or model.
