The AM02-20L-BK is Tackform's drill-base phone mount for semi trucks. It is built from metal throughout, apart from the knobs and rubber grips, and combines an AMPS base, a 7" cast modular arm and the Enduro 20LITE phone cradle on the 20mm ball-and-socket system.
The dual articulating joints let you set the viewing angle wherever you mount it, and tightening the thumbscrew locks the all-metal 20 Series socket in place. The 20LITE cradle holds phones up to 3.75" wide and 0.6" thick, even in large cases, which Tackform says covers iPhone Mini through Max and the largest Galaxy phones. Most flip-style phones are not compatible.
Fitment
Universal. The AMPS base is Tackform's universal answer for a truck or a fleet of trucks, and the mount is not tied to a particular make or model.
What's included
The HW-AMPS-1 mounting kit, which has a metal backing plate with press-fit threaded inserts so you do not have to hold nuts while installing.
Install notes
The backing plate spreads the load on the dash for a secure install. It is a drill-base mount, so check behind the panel before drilling.
