If your Diode Dynamics 8 channel D-Switch panel is sitting on its factory bracket, this holder replaces that bracket so you can put the panel on a Tackform arm or base instead. It gives you three Type-B connection points, which means you can mount the panel centered, offset to the left, or offset to the right depending on where the arm needs to sit.
Type-B is Tackform's standard way of attaching a ball or a dovetail to a surface, so you can change ball sizes or go to a dovetail without replacing the holder. The dovetail is a good choice for short reach, and the 20mm ball is usually the better pick for longer reach. The holder is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum.
Fitment
Made for the Diode Dynamics 8 channel D-Switch panel. It is designed around Tackform's 20 Series (20mm ball) and is not suitable for 25.4mm / 1" / B-sized balls. It is not vehicle specific.
Choose your connection
Pick the 20mm ball version in black, or the coupler version. The coupler comes in black, blue, green, orange, pink, purple, red or yellow accent kit colors.

Does it replace the bracket that came with my switch panel?
Yes. It fully replaces the factory bracket on the Diode Dynamics 8 channel panel.
Which option should I pick, ball or coupler?
The 20mm ball version is typically preferred for longer reach. Tackform describes the dovetail connection as better for short-reach setups. The coupler comes in several accent colors.
Can I mount the panel off-center?
Yes. The three Type-B points let you choose center, left-offset or right-offset mounting.
Will it work with 1" ball mounts?
No. It is not suitable for 25.4mm / 1" / B-sized balls.
