The Tufskinz Strip Above Climate Control Accent Overlay dresses up the plain dash panel directly above the HVAC controls on the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma. It's a 2-piece domed (raised) overlay that adds dimension and color to one of the most-seen spots on the center stack, pressing on over the factory surface without touching the controls themselves. Keep tidying up the cab with the Rear Seat Cubby Foam Inserts.
Features
- 2-piece kit sized specifically for the 2016-2023 Tacoma dash above the climate controls
- Domed (raised) design reads as molded trim rather than a flat sticker
- Backed with 3M automotive-grade adhesive for a lasting hold
- Offered in 36 finishes, including OE-match colors like Army Green, Cavalry Blue, and Lunar Rock
- Sits over the factory panel to help shield it from scuffs and fingerprints
- Made in the USA
Installation
Installation runs about 5 minutes. Clean the surface, peel the 3M backing, and press each piece into place — no drilling, no cutting, and no tools, so it's an easy first mod even if you've never installed trim before.
Fitment
This overlay is cut for the 3rd Gen (2016-2023) Toyota Tacoma. See how it fits alongside the rest of our Tufskinz Toyota Tacoma collection.

Strip Above Climate Control Accent Overlay Fits 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma FAQs
Will this fit my Toyota Tacoma?
Yes, if you have a 2016-2023 (3rd Gen) Toyota Tacoma. The 2-piece kit is cut specifically for the dash strip above the climate controls on that generation. It is not designed for the 2024+ 4th Gen Tacoma.
Is it hard to install?
Not at all. It's a peel-and-stick overlay backed with 3M adhesive that takes about 5 minutes with no drilling or cutting. Just clean the surface first and press each piece into place.
Does it cover or replace the factory trim?
It covers. The domed overlay applies directly over the existing panel above your climate controls, hiding it while protecting it. With 36 finishes available, you can match your OE paint color or go for contrast.
