The 2024 and newer Tacoma Hybrid is laid out differently underneath than the gas trucks, and this package is made for it. It bundles three RCI plates into one order: an engine skid plate, a hybrid-specific transmission skid plate and a hybrid transfer-case skid plate. Together they cover the front two cross-members, the low-hanging front differential, oil pan, transmission, the second and third cross-members, the exhaust cross pipe and the transfer case. RCI positions them as an upgrade or replacement for the lightweight factory plates.
You choose the material for each plate: 3/16 inch steel in black powdercoat, or 1/4 inch 5052 aluminum in black powdercoat or raw metal (the engine plate comes in steel or black powdercoat aluminum). RCI lists the package weight at 128 lb in steel and 65 lb in aluminum.
Fitment
This package is for the 2024 and newer Tacoma Hybrid only. RCI sells a separate package for non-hybrid 2024+ Tacomas, so call us if you are not sure which truck you have. One requirement matters: the engine skid plate needs a front crossmember below the radiator. RCI says it is developing a bolt-on crossmember for vehicles that lack one. Some photos show A-arm skid plates, which are not part of this package.
What's included
The engine skid plate with a steel standoff bracket in black powdercoat and its hardware kit, the transmission skid plate with its hardware kit, and the transfer-case skid plate with its hardware kit.
Install notes
Direct bolt-on to existing factory attachment points, with no drilling. Each section can be removed on its own for maintenance, and a built-in oil drain hole lets you change the oil without removing the plate.

Does this fit the non-hybrid Tacoma?
No. This package is for hybrid models only. RCI sells a separate package for the non-hybrid 2024+ Tacoma.
What is the crossmember requirement?

Are A-arm skid plates included?
