This RCI package puts three skid plates under the new Land Cruiser: engine, transmission and transfer case. Together they cover the front two cross-members, the low-hanging front differential, oil pan, transmission, the second and third cross-members, the exhaust cross pipe and the transfer case. It is a straightforward upgrade over thin, lightweight factory plating, or a fix for having none.
Each plate is offered in 3/16" steel with a black powdercoat or in 1/4" 5052 aluminum (raw or black powdercoated), so you can trade weight against cost. The complete package weighs 128 lbs in steel and 65 lbs in aluminum. Edges between the cross-members are reinforced, bolt protector rings shield exposed hardware, and the surface is smooth and flat so the truck slides over what it hits.

What's included
The engine skid plate with its standoff bracket (always steel, black powdercoated) and hardware kit; the transmission skid plate with hardware kit; the transfer-case skid plate with its crossmember (always steel, black powdercoated) and hardware kit.
Install notes
Bolts to existing factory attachment points with no drilling. Every subsection can be removed separately for maintenance, and a built-in oil drain hole lets you change the oil without pulling the plate.

Is the whole package steel or aluminum?
You choose the material for each plate. The engine standoff bracket and the transfer-case crossmember are always black powdercoated steel regardless of choice.
Does it require drilling?

Can I change the oil without removing the plate?
Yes, there is a built-in oil drain hole.
