What's covered

- Corrosion and normal wear
- Off-road damage (with some exceptions RCI decides case by case)

- Hook marks from hanging parts for coating, unless the finish fails

- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

This package fits the Tacoma with engine, transmission and transfer-case skid plates. It protects the front two cross-members, the low-hanging front differential, oil pan, transmission, second and third cross-members, exhaust cross pipe and transfer case, and it is a solid upgrade or replacement for weak, lightweight OEM plates. Edges between cross-members are reinforced and bolt protector rings shield exposed bolts. The transmission plate is RCI's latest and strongest design. Steel plates are black powder coated.
Fitment
2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab and Double Cab 3.5L models only. It does not fit 2WD models and does not fit with a drop bracket lift of 4" or more.
What's included
Engine, transmission and transfer-case skid plates and hardware. Material and finish are chosen per plate, including transfer-case versions for trucks with an exhaust re-route. All transfer-case crossmembers are 3/16" steel, powder coated black, even with aluminum plates, for structural strength. The package weighs 120 lb in steel and 68 lb in aluminum.
Install notes
Easy DIY installation as a direct bolt-on to factory attachment points, with no drilling. A built-in oil drain hole allows oil changes without removing the plate, and sections can be removed individually.

Does it fit every Tacoma?
No. It fits Access Cab and Double Cab 3.5L models only, and not 2WD.
Will it work with a drop bracket lift?
No, it does not fit with a drop bracket lift of 4" or more.
Why is the crossmember always steel?
RCI makes every transfer-case crossmember from 3/16" powder coated steel, even on aluminum packages, to keep the plate structurally sound.
Can I change oil without removing the plate?
Yes, there is a built-in oil drain hole.
