This RCI plate protects the rear differential on 2016-2023 Tacoma SR5 and TRD Sport models. It clamps to the axle housing, hugs the differential within 1/4" to keep ground clearance, and finishes in black powder coat to resist rust. Drain holes let water and debris out while keeping the drain plug reachable. Made in the USA.
Fitment
Read this part carefully. This listing is only for SR5/TRD Sport Tacomas, which have the oil drain plug on the driver side. If your drain plug is on the driver side, this is the right plate. TRD Off-Road and Pro trucks use a different plate, and so do manual-transmission Sport models, which run the larger differential found on the Off-Road and Pro. RCI points those to its 4Runner / Tacoma / FJ / GX differential skid plate or its TRD Off-Road/Pro plate. The product photos show the drain on the passenger side because they are a generic image of the non-Sport version.

How do I know this is the right plate for my Tacoma?
Check the oil drain plug on the rear differential. This plate is for trucks with the drain plug on the driver side, which is the SR5/TRD Sport setup.
What about TRD Off-Road or Pro?
Those have the drain plug on the passenger side and need the TRD Off-Road/Pro plate instead.
What about a manual-transmission Sport?
RCI says manual Sport models use the larger differential and need the TRD Off-Road/Pro plate or its 4Runner / Tacoma / FJ / GX plate.
Does it need drilling?
No, it bolts to existing factory attachment points.
