Catalytic converters are an easy target for thieves and an exposed one on the trail. This guard set is made specifically for the PowerBoost hybrid F-150, and it covers the converters with a vented design that allows airflow and heat dissipation. The face is smooth and flat so the truck slides over obstacles, and the guards add strength to the RCI transmission skid plate they mount to. They tie in with RCI engine and transmission skids and are compatible with the OEM F-150 engine and transfer case skid plates.

Worth knowing before you buy: once the guards are installed, they cannot be removed without removing the skid plates. That is the point for theft deterrence, but it makes later access a bigger job. RCI lists a separate guard for non-PowerBoost F-150s.

Fitment

Fits the 2021-present Ford F-150 PowerBoost, 4x4 models only. The RCI transmission skid plate is required for installation and is NOT included; RCI sells it as the Transmission Skid Plate for the PowerBoost 21-present F-150.
