A Gladiator fuel tank hangs low enough to take a hit or let you high-center on the trail. This RCI plate is laser cut and custom fit to cover the tank, with a smooth flat underside that slides over obstacles. Pick 3/16" steel for true heavy duty use on rugged, rocky terrain, or 1/4" 5052 aluminum for daily driven vehicles: it is substantially stronger than factory plates, resists rust and corrosion without a finish, and is much lighter. Black powdercoat is standard on steel and available on aluminum. Made in the USA.
Fitment
Confirmed on 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator JT with the 3.6L gas engine. The 4xe is suspected to fit. RCI confirms it does not fit the diesel.
What's included
The skid plate, all hardware and installation instructions.
Install notes
Simple bolt-on to the existing factory attachment points with no drilling. Weight is 52 lbs in steel and 38 lbs in aluminum.
