- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

This RCI fuel tank skid plate is made from 3/16" steel or 1/4" 5052 aluminum alloy and covers the fuel tank on 2003-2024 4Runners. The aluminum is substantially stronger than the factory skid, needs no finish and is lightweight; the steel is meant for rugged, rocky terrain.
The surface is smooth and flat so it slides over obstacles, and the steel version comes with a heavy-duty black powdercoat for corrosion protection.
Fitment
RCI lists the 2003-2024 Toyota 4Runner. The installation guide title also references the GX, so ask us if you have a GX.
Options and weight
3/16" steel weighs 52 lbs. 1/4" aluminum weighs 26 lbs and comes bare or in satin black powdercoat.
Install notes
It bolts to existing factory attachment points with no drilling. Hardware and instructions are included. Made in the USA.
