This is a three-cable set for wiring up an Auxbeam system: two power cables and one ground cable, all 4 gauge. They are made in house from USA-made fine-strand welding cable with pure copper conductors, not the copper-clad aluminum (aluminum core, thin copper skin) that some kits ship with. Pure copper has lower resistance and is less prone to corrosion, and the fine strands keep the cable flexible enough to route through a crowded engine bay.
The jacket is EPDM, which the vendor lists as resistant to cuts, tears, abrasion, water, oil, grease and flame. Each cable gets braided expandable sleeving, marine-grade adhesive-lined heat shrink, and professionally crimped tinned copper lugs. The cable is listed as meeting SAE J1127 and ASTM B-172, and it is RoHS compliant.
What's included
One 30 inch power cable (battery terminal to the Auxbeam breaker), one 14 inch power cable (breaker to the Auxbeam unit), and one 26 inch ground cable (Auxbeam unit to a fender ground). The breaker and the Auxbeam unit itself are not part of this bundle.
Fitment
The cable lengths are specified around the Auxbeam layout above rather than around a particular vehicle, so this is a universal-fit accessory. Before ordering, make sure your battery-to-breaker run works at 30 inches.
