How to make a Overland Vehicle Systems claim
- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

The XD Everest: A Cantilever Hard Shell With Room on Top
Most hard shell tents give up the roof once they are mounted. The XD Everest is an extreme duty cantilever tent with an aluminum shell and crossbars on top, so you keep a place to carry bikes, a canoe or other gear while the tent is closed. It comes in 2 person and 4 person sizes.
The shell is aircraft-grade aluminum and the base is aluminum honeycomb, which keeps it stiff without adding a lot of weight. The cantilever opening folds the shell out to create the sleeping area, and the body is 320G ripstop with a blackout interior coating that blocks light, useful for sleeping past sunrise or napping in the afternoon. Universal. It mounts on a roof rack or bed rack rated for its weight. The 2 person tent ships at about 160 lb and the 4 person at about 185 lb, so check your rack's ratings first.
Choose the XD Everest 2 or XD Everest 4 based on how many people sleep up top. A matching XD Everest annex room is sold separately for each size. Plan on at least two people, or a lift, to get it onto the rack. This one ships by freight truck, so plan on a delivery appointment. Not sure it fits your setup?
