How to make a Overland Vehicle Systems claim
- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

Waxed Canvas Bag Built Around Recovery Gear
When you need a strap and a soft shackle, you need them now, not after digging through the back seat. The OVS Large Recovery Bag keeps your recovery kit in one tough waxed canvas bag with enough organization to find each piece fast.
The fabric is #16 waxed canvas: heavy cotton duck soaked with paraffin, which sheds water and stands up to tearing. OVS rates the material for puncture resistance up to 100 lbs, and it picks up scuffs and a worn-in patina with use rather than looking beat up. Two heavy-duty alligator buckles close the flap, ten rows of MOLLE webbing on the outside take pouches or gloves, and two stainless steel D-rings give you clip points. Universal. This bag isn't vehicle-specific and fits in most cargo areas, bed boxes or behind a seat.
It measures about 20 x 6 x 11 inches and has a single nylon carry handle. The D-rings let you clip it down or hang gear from it. It's sized for straps, kinetic ropes, soft shackles, snatch blocks and recovery rings rather than full-length winch extensions. Not sure it fits your setup?
