Vendor warranty summary

Overland Vehicle Systems Warranty

At a glance: coverage depends on the line: limited lifetime on Expedition truck cap structure and XD awning frames, 6 years on XD tents and XD awning fabric, 4 years on HD tents and awnings, 2 years on LD tents

This is Overland Vehicle Systems's policy, not an NVMOS policy. OVS doesn't publish one warranty document. Its product pages say coverage and terms vary by product, so we've pulled the terms from each OVS product line's own pages and summarized them in plain English. Where an OVS page shows a generic warranty badge that disagrees with the product's own warranty text, we use the product text. The manufacturer's official terms always govern and can change without notice. Last reviewed on nvmos.com: October 16, 2026.

Heavy Duty 20,000 lb Snatch Block

A snatch block is the cheapest way to get more out of the winch you already own. Run the line through it and back to an anchor point and you roughly double the pulling force while cutting the load on the winch motor, or use it to change the angle of a pull when the stuck vehicle isn't straight ahead of you.

This one is built from heavy duty iron and carries a 20,000 lb load rating, with a pulley that turns smoothly so the line isn't dragged across a fixed edge. It accepts both synthetic rope and steel cable, so it won't force a change if you switch winch lines later. It sits alongside the rest of our recovery gear.

Why it works
Doubles your pullA double-line rig puts roughly twice the force on the load and less strain on the winch.
Line-friendly pulleyThe sheave rolls with the line instead of rubbing it, which protects rope and cable.
Steel or syntheticWorks with either type of winch line without swapping hardware.
Fitment

Universal. It works with most winch and recovery setups using synthetic or steel winch line, as long as your rigging is rated for the job.

Good to know

You get one snatch block. Pair it with a rated tree saver or shackle at the anchor, and keep the whole rig's weakest component in mind, since the block's 20,000 lb rating doesn't raise the rating of anything else in the line. Not sure it fits your setup? Call us at (920) 249-7744 and a real person will check it.
