How to make a Overland Vehicle Systems claim
- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

OVS HD Nomadic 90 Degree Awning
A pull-out side awning is the cheapest square footage you can add to a camp, and it is the one piece of gear that gets used on every stop. The OVS HD Nomadic 90 rolls out from its travel cover to shade the side of the vehicle and comes in three lengths so you can match it to your rack.
The canopy is 280g ripstop polycotton oxford with a 3500 PU waterproof rating and FMVSS 302 certification. It rides on an aluminum box extrusion frame with steel hardware, and two pivoting alloy telescopic poles tuck under the awning arms so they are always there when you open it. Heavy-duty SBS zippers and ballistic nylon Velcro straps close the 1000g PVC travel cover. Browse more vehicle awnings and accessories.
Universal. Mounts on the passenger or driver side of a roof rack, and the 4.5 ft version can also mount on the rear. Options are 4.5 ft x 6.5 ft, 6.5 ft x 8.0 ft and 8.0 ft x 8.0 ft.
Each awning includes guide lines, tie-downs, ground stakes, mounting L-brackets, hardware and a storage bag. Guide line attachment points add structure and help rain run off. Which size should I get?
Measure the usable length of your roof rack on the side you plan to mount it. The options are 4.5 ft x 6.5 ft, 6.5 ft x 8.0 ft and 8.0 ft x 8.0 ft.
Can it mount on the back of the vehicle?
Only the 4.5 ft version is designed to mount on the rear. All sizes can mount on the driver or passenger side.
Are mounting brackets included?
Yes. Each awning comes with mounting L-brackets and hardware, along with stakes, tie-downs and guide lines.
Is it waterproof?
The fabric carries a 3500 PU waterproof rating.
