How to make a Overland Vehicle Systems claim
- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

HD Bushveld 4 Person Cantilever Hard Shell Roof Top Tent
The Bushveld is a family-size hard shell tent that folds out instead of popping straight up, which is how it gets an 84 x 72 inch sleeping area out of a roof-friendly footprint. Release four latches, the lid opens, and the bottom section flips out to extend the mattress. OVS puts deployment at about a minute.
The one-piece polymer shell is waterproof and shaped to cut drag, and it opens to the passenger side. Inside, the double 280G rip-stop body sits under a 420D oxford rainfly, the base is insulated aluminum with a built-in anti-condensation layer and a diamond plate underside, and all latches and hardware are 304 stainless steel. A 39 x 25.5 inch skylight and roll-up windows handle airflow. Compare it with our other roof top tents.
Universal. It mounts with pre-assembled adjustable aluminum channels to vehicles with a suitable roof rack or bed rack. Confirm your rack can carry a tent of this size and weight before installing.
Included: quilted memory foam mattress, blanket, memory foam pillows, six window rods and a 96 inch aluminum ladder with black powder coat. The shell is closed with a ballistic nylon pull strap. Shipping weight is about 175 lb, so plan on help or equipment for installation. This one ships by freight truck, so plan on a delivery appointment. Not sure it fits your setup? How many people does it sleep?
It is designed for four, with an 84 x 72 inch sleeping area.
How does it open?
Release the four latches, let the lid open, then flip the bottom section out to extend the mattress. It takes about a minute.
Which side does it open to?
The shell opens toward the passenger side.
Can I add an awning or annex?
Yes. The Bushveld can accept an awning or annex room, sold separately.
What bedding is included?
