How to make a Overland Vehicle Systems claim
- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

HD Bushveld 2 Cantilever Hard Shell Roof Top Tent
Clamshell tents are quick but tight, and soft-shell tents are roomy but slow to pack. The OVS HD Bushveld 2 splits the difference: a hard polymer shell that releases with three latches and a cantilever floor that folds out to an 84 x 64 inch sleeping area, one of the larger footprints in a hard shell tent. It's built as a 4-season tent.
The one-piece polymer shell is aerodynamic and waterproof, lifted by two nitrogen gas struts, and all the latches and hardware are 304 stainless steel. The body is 280g ripstop poly cotton under a 420D polyester oxford rainfly with a PU 3500 UV rating, and the windows use breathable 120g mesh. Underneath, the aluminum base is insulated, has an anti-condensation layer and a black diamond plate skin. Inside you get a quilted high-density foam mattress, foam pillows, a blanket, a 39 x 25.5 inch skylight, a storage loft and plenty of pouches. Compare it with our other roof top tents.
Universal mount for roof racks, crossbars and bed racks rated to carry the tent. The preassembled aluminum mounting channels are adjustable to suit your bar spacing. The shell opens toward the passenger side.
The tent comes with a 96 inch powder-coated aluminum ladder, six window rods, a ballistic nylon pull strap for closing, two exterior shoe pouches and the bedding listed above. It ships at about 150 lb, so confirm your rack's dynamic load rating and plan on two or more people to lift it into place. A matching Bushveld awning and annex room are available as add-ons. With the cantilever floor deployed it's 84 x 64 inches.
Can I add an awning or annex?
Yes. OVS makes an awning and an annex room for the Bushveld that attach without drilling.

Will my roof rack hold it?
