How to make a Overland Vehicle Systems claim
- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

OVS Explorer Soft Shell for Ford Ranger 5 ft Bed
A hard camper shell is a big commitment. The Explorer Soft Shell gives the new Ranger's 5 ft bed a covered, weather-protected space for gear with a lightweight aluminum frame and canvas skin that one person can set up, fold or remove. You get a dry, enclosed bed when you need it and the open truck back when you don't.
The cover is Black Diamond Canvas, treated against UV and mildew and fully waterproof. The rear window can be rolled up for airflow or taken off entirely, and the windows are DOT-tinted 30 mil vinyl. It attaches with zippers and belt rails, sits level with the cab roof to keep drag down, and lets you use the whole bed without taking the top off. Fits 2024-2027 Ford Ranger with the 5 ft bed. For 2019-2023 Rangers, use the earlier version.
Install and removal are done with zippers and belt rails. Built-in retention straps hold the frame folded and secure on long drives. This is the 5 ft bed version, part number 70400024; check your bed length before ordering, since each Explorer Soft Shell is made for one bed size. Not sure it fits your setup?
