How to make a Overland Vehicle Systems claim
- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product

A 169-Quart Dry Box That Rolls
Tools, dry food, recovery kit and spare clothes all need somewhere to ride that keeps out dust, rain and road spray. The OVS D.B.S. 169 is a large lockable polyethylene box with a gasket-sealed lid and its own wheels, so you can roll it from the truck to camp instead of hauling 56 pounds of box by hand.
The shell is tough polyethylene with molded strength ridges for stiffness, and the lid is weighted so it presses down onto a dustproof, waterproof gasket when it closes. Two heavy-duty latches keep it shut, two locking points accept your own padlocks, and a drain lets you hose it out after a muddy trip. There's even a bottle opener built in. It's filed with our cases and protective storage, but think of it as sealed dry storage for anything you don't want wet.
Universal. The D.B.S. 169 isn't tied to any vehicle and works in a truck bed, SUV cargo area, trailer, RV, boat or side-by-side. Outside it measures 37 x 23 x 20 inches, so check your space before ordering.
OVS doesn't offer a roof rack mount for the D.B.S. boxes. If you want one on the rack, you can drill through the base and bolt it down, or run a tie-down strap through the handles. Can I mount the D.B.S. 169 on a roof rack?
There is no dedicated roof rack mount. You can drill through the base and bolt it to the rack, or secure it with a tie-down strap run through the handles.
Is it waterproof?
The lid closes onto a gasket seal that OVS rates as dustproof and waterproof, and the weighted lid helps it seal tight.
Can I lock it?
Yes. It has two locking points for your own padlocks, along with two heavy-duty latches.
How much fits inside?
The interior is 31.5 x 16.5 x 15 inches, plus a 30.5 x 15.5 x 1.75 inch cavity in the lid.
