ORACLE Premium Headlight Sealant is an RTV (room-temperature-vulcanizing) waterproof silicone formulated for reassembling automotive headlamp housings. ORACLE calls it the first commercially available sealant made specifically for headlight sealing, and this is the black version.

Tack time is 30 minutes and it cures in three hours, though six hours is recommended for a full cure. Application temperature runs from 35 to 115 degrees F, and a 3/16 inch bead covers 50 feet per tube. This listing is a bulk case of 24 tubes, so it suits shops and anyone doing many lights.

Install notes

Clamp or otherwise put pressure on the lens for at least 3 hours while the seal sets, preferably overnight. Depending on bead thickness, full cure can take up to 2 weeks, and during that time avoid pressure washing, heavy rain and other water on the seal.

Safety

Do not ingest. Avoid inhaling fumes while it cures, since it releases methanol and ammonia. Keep it out of eyes, wear safety glasses and keep it away from children.
