This is a BA9S bayonet LED bulb sized for the radio display on Ford F-150 trucks from 1975-1979, 1985-1986. It uses 3-chip SMD emitters in the same compact bayonet body as the stock bulb, so it goes into the existing socket with no modification. ORACLE rates it for up to 20x the life of a conventional incandescent, and the 3-chip layout is meant to put out more light than single-chip LED bulbs of the same size.
