A single-use applicator pad pre-loaded with liquid adhesion promoter. It is meant to help double-stick and VHB foam tape bond better to common automotive surfaces: acrylic, ABS, polycarbonate and glass. If you are sticking lighting components, trim or accessories to a vehicle, a primer step is the cheap insurance.
Each packet has its own built-in applicator, so there is no mess and nothing else to buy. One packet covers about 1 square foot, which the vendor describes as ideal for most single-component installs.
Fitment
Universal. It is a prep product, not a vehicle-specific part. Works on acrylic, ABS, polycarbonate and glass surfaces.
Install notes
Wipe the promoter onto the bonding surface, let it dry 30 to 90 seconds, then apply the tape right away for best results. Store in a cool area out of direct sunlight. Sold as singles, so order a pad for each area you plan to prep.
