The ORACLE 7440 spider bulb fits 24 SMD LEDs into a standard 7440 base for a cool white output with a 180 degree viewing angle. ORACLE lists it as a direct OEM replacement with Quick-Fire response, brighter than a stock halogen bulb and covered by a 1 year warranty. The 5050 SMD chips are rated at 100,000 hours of continuous use and the bulb draws about one tenth of the power of the factory bulb. LEDs also light faster than incandescent filaments, which is a small safety gain in tail light use.
Fitment
A universal replacement for sockets that use a 7440 bulb, part number 5110-001. ORACLE says it is commonly used in turn signal, brake and running light positions. The listing does not name specific vehicles, so confirm the bulb number in your lamp.
